The place was super cool and modern, with comfy beds and big lockers for keeping our stuff safe. The staff were hella friendly and helped us with everything we needed, like renting motorbikes and giving us tips on where to party. Plus, the free breakfast on the rooftop with killer views was the perfect way to start our days before hitting up Maquinit Hot Spring and Siete Pecados for some epic adventures!

If there's one thing we'd ask for, it would be more late-night party vibes at the hostel. Don't get us wrong, the staff were awesome, but we were craving some evening fun and maybe even a DJ to turn up the party vibes.

The rooms at Bakawan Hostel were cozy and comfortable, with a private bathroom and bed linen included. As a low-budget traveler, I felt like I had everything I needed to rest and relax after a day of exploring Coron.

The only thing I liked less was the bathroom size, but that's just my personal opinion.

We also appreciated the lockers with padlocks provided. the location was great, walking distance to town and with plenty of food options nearby. the simple and tasty made-to-order breakfast, free water on the balcony, and comfortable beds were added bonuses. we would definitely recommend Bakawan to solo travelers looking for a relaxed place to explore and enjoy Coron!

I visited Coron for a weekend getaway and had a jam-packed schedule with island hopping tours. Luckily, Bakawan was accommodating enough to let me check in early and store my luggage. The hostel is clean, the staff is friendly, and they provide essential amenities like lamps, plugs, fans. I loved the rooftop view where we had breakfast and could enjoy a cup of coffee anytime. The location is convenient, just a 7-8 minute walk to the town center. If I return to Coron, Bakawan will definitely be my first choice.

bakawan was a pleasant surprise in coron - great staff, clean rooms, and a sociable atmosphere. the included breakfast was fresh, and the location was convenient. the rooftop terrace provided amazing views. highly recommended!
